Recent Events
In August 2007, we completed the sale of two vessels, previously owned by the Voyageur Group, to Lower Lakes Towing Ltd ⇒. The Voyageur Marine's founders and only remaining shareholders continue to own the company's remaining vessel, the Maritime Trader. In addition to the sale of the two vessels, we entered into a Contract of Affreightment with Lower Lakes, which has an initial expiry date of December 31, 2011. Captain Vaughan Kendall
After months of intensive training, Captain Kendall assumed command of the Maritime Trader on May 1, 2007. Shouts and whistles were heard from a nearby ship during the on-board ceremony to celebrate Vaughan's Captaincy, where Vaughan's father, Captain George Kendall, was stationed.
